Frequently asked
questions.
Everything you need to know about visiting the Louvre with MuseCat.
How long does it take to visit the Louvre?
Most visitors spend 3–5 hours, but with a guided route, you can see the highlights in about 4 hours.
What are the must-see artworks in the Louvre?
The Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Winged Victory, and more — all included in our curated route.
Is an audio guide worth it at the Louvre?
Yes, but only if it's structured. MuseCat provides curated storytelling, not just random explanations.
How much storage does the app use?
About 1GB. You need to download the Louvre guide before playing it — but once downloaded, everything works fully offline inside the museum, even where there's no signal.
How does the route guidance work?
An efficient 4-hour route through the must-see masterpieces. Video walks you through every step of the way — so you don't have to read maps or guess where to go next.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. MuseCat is currently iOS only. The Android version is in development.
Which languages are supported?
Currently 10 languages: English, 日本語, Deutsch, Español, 繁體中文, Italiano, Türkçe, Русский, Français, Português.
