Portrait of the Last Muse

*La femme à l'oreiller* (Woman with a Pillow) is a portrait of Jacqueline Roque, Picasso's last muse and his wife. From the day they met and throughout their marriage, Jacqueline was both his partner and his devoted fan, and during some twenty years together she worked hard as his model. Having lived together so long, he painted her more than any of his other muses. The other works shown alongside this one are also all portraits of Jacqueline Roque.
