Tour Route and Duration
Paris · Paris, France
The walk starts at Notre-Dame Cathedral on the Île de la Cité. From there, you will visit Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie, cross the Pont Neuf to the Louvre, then stroll through the Tuileries Garden past the Musée de l'Orangerie and stop for a break at Café Angelina. Stories about the Louvre controversies, the Belle Époque and the World's Fairs are ready for you to enjoy while you rest in the Tuileries or at Angelina.
After the break, you will pass the Petit Palais and Grand Palais, both Belle Époque landmarks, and reach the Pont Alexandre III, often called the most beautiful bridge in Paris. The tour ends here, with views across the river to Les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. The whole route takes about three hours. If you still have time and energy, you can carry on along the Champs-Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower.
Every corner of Paris is worth seeing, so most of the tour is on foot. If you get tired, public transport is always an option. We have also planned rest stops and cafés along the way, so go at a pace that suits your schedule and stamina.
