Bateaux-Mouches: A Seine Cruise by Night
Paris · Paris, France
Past the Flame of Liberty, head down to the dock under the Pont de l'Alma, home of the Bateaux-Mouches, said to be the biggest sightseeing boats in Paris. A ride takes about an hour along the Seine. You don't have to chase down each landmark on foot: from the boat you can see the river's main sights, and their night lighting, all in one go, which is why it's so popular.
The boat leaves the dock, passes beneath the Pont Alexandre III, considered the most beautiful bridge in Paris, then glides past the Place de la Concorde, the Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre, and circles the Île de la Cité. It then passes the dock again, continues on to the Eiffel Tower and returns to its starting point. There are sightseeing-only cruises as well as dinner cruises with a meal. If you want to give yourself a truly romantic Paris evening, we recommend the dinner cruise along the Seine.
