You've just entered Room 16. On display here are works by Camille Claudel, Rodin's romantic partner. Because she fell in love with Rodin while he was still common-law married to Rose, Claudel was branded as the other woman, and her own considerable skill as a sculptor has remained comparatively overshadowed by Rodin's enormous success. But in truth, Claudel was an exceptional artist in her own right. We'll look at two of her most representative works here. More in the next track.
