Things to Know While Touring
Panthéon · Paris, France
Two things to keep in mind as you explore.
First, the Panthéon is trickier to navigate than you might expect. The building is laid out as a cross when seen from above, with paintings and sculptures tucked into every corner of the ground floor and, below, a maze of rooms holding two or more tombs each. It's easy to lose track of where you are, so use the map at the end of each track's photos to find your way.
Second, depending on conditions inside, some exhibits, such as Foucault's Pendulum, are occasionally not viewable. If that happens, check the map at the end of the track, skip that spot, and move on to the next stop.
